For about as long as sex toys have existed, there's always been the assumption (by the ignorant majority) that straight guys can't own a toy, specifically a dildo. If you're in the mood to read a rant, read on!
"Does this look gay to you?"
— Patrick Star
With that out of the way, I love prostate stimulation. To me, there's rarely an instance you wouldn't want it, unless you're looking for a calmer orgasm (nothing like some p-stim for a cross-eyed, mind blowing orgasm). So why is there so much negative stigma associated with guys and sex toys?
What we do know is that gay sex has been around for centuries, and it dates as far back as the ancient Greeks. There wasn’t nearly as much negative stigma associated with it as there is nowadays, so what changed? What happened between the time period of the ancient Greeks where gay sex was practiced openly and even in the military, to modern day America, where a gay couple can’t even get married in most states?
Well, for starters, we need to look at the difference between giving and receiving. Historically speaking, males are predominately the providers for their family and generally (in the past) women have been the submissive half of the relationship. There are plenty of exceptions to this rule, but this is the image that's built up in our minds through the media. Almost everything we see, hear, and touch, contributes to this stereotype, and usually at a very young age. Thankfully this is starting to change little by little, but I think it'll still be a long time before men and women will truly be viewed as equals in the bedroom.
"So what? Women are portrayed as submissive, what's this got to do with men?"
Everything! It's quite hard to look dominant with a dildo up your ass. Ironically though, this is about the closest that a male can get to the highly-acclaimed female full body orgasm. Why deny yourself this pleasure because of a stereotype?
This isn't even considering the "mess factor" yet. As everyone (hopefully) knows, the ass isn't just a tight hole for anal sex; it's dirty and unsanitary without proper preparation. Even an enema can cause health problems, and overall, it just seems like more trouble than it’s worth.
But what about the actual gay couples? This is the only way that they can consummate their lust. There's plenty of straight guys into anal and p-stim, but this is not the norm, and instinctively, people compare the unknown, to what they DO know. This builds the idea that "oh, anal toys are for women and gay men" from the moment that most people learn about them, because traditionally, straight males didn't have p-stim, and it was only seen or heard about through gay couples (who have suffered their fair share of suppression) and that's how I believe this negative stigma was built.
*Phew* sorry for the rant, hope at least some of you thought it was interesting.
Dr.Joel Kaplan prostate massager – prostate massager
This is the perfect product for prostate play beginners. It is long enough to hit the p-spot with enough shaft left over to hold on to. This toy is waterproof too, which makes clean up a snap! Overall, this product is a great deal for the price!
This toy is intended for anal play and prostate manipulation. I love the fact that it has a long shaft and that the vibrations are so powerful. The length and diameter of the shaft make insertion easy and it is non-intimidating looking, even for a beginner. This toy could also be used for g-spot manipulation. The bulb is nice and curved and not painful at all for use. As an anal toy, it really should have a flanged base, though. As a result, I would never recommend using this for use during sex. In the heat of the moment the toy may slip inside.
This product is made from smooth plastic and has a safety rating of 8. It is non-porous and phthalate-free material with firm, smooth textures. It is safe for anal use because after cleaning it will not harbor bacteria. It has no smell or taste what-so-ever. It is not realistic looking or feeling, but where it is going you won't need to see it! This is a bonus for men that do not want a "dildo" to hit their p-spot.
You will need some lube for this to be inserted rectally. It even says on the package, "Always use a lubricant with this product for maximum pleasure." Be careful, thouh! It is slippery when lubed up. Thankfully the base with the dial is not slick. The dial and base are a ribbed texture, which make it a bit easier to grip. It did not make turning the dial any easier once I had lubrication on my fingers, though.
Perfect for finding your p-spot . . .
This toy is a good performer. The vibrations are strong at the bulb (or tip) which is right where they need to be. It was easy to use and easy to insert for p-spot play. It is waterproof and stayed dry whenever I submerged it in water. The dial base is a bit hard to turn but it worked great for p-spot manipulation, which is what it was intended for. I would recommend this toy to a friend based on performance. It was surprisingly quiet too, even at full speed. It would not be heard through a closed door, but slightly louder than a phone on vibrate. It is even quieter when inserted.
This toy hits the right spots for my partner every time. We are new to prostate play. I knew my partner would appreciate this toy's non-threatening design. The vibrations can be felt mostly at the tip, but they are not so buzzy that my fingers lose feeling when we are using it for insertion. The last few times I used it I actually had it in backwards (the tip was facing the wrong way). When I took it out, I realized my error and I reinserted it correctly. He had a mind-blowing orgasm without even being ready for it! I would say this toy is a winner, and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to explore prostate play.
Miguel was very intimidated at first with the mention of anal play. Like most guys, he didn't think he would like it. I know he tried it for me at first but now he asks for me to use this toy on him. We use this toy almost once a week. We use it alone and sometimes it is a pre-cursor for more anal play. Miguel loves the vibrations and it really hits the spot for him. I like that it has a small slim design so it is easy to insert without being painful or needing alot of lubrication for insertion. I am so glad I got this toy, because it really works for its intended purpose. This was our first toy for prostate massage and it has been such a pleasurable experience that he is now willing to experiment more. We also use it on his perineum prior to penetration. It has a nice long handle and doesn't vibrate my hand too much for extended play. I am very happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend it for any guy that wants something that is not intimidating for anal play. Buy your prostate massager today - click here >>>
All right, so let me start off by saying I'm a straight male. I've never been sexually attracted to any males, nor have I had any bisexual/gay fantasies.
